If you’ve seen my updated Twitter bio lately, it reads like that. Here’s a little more context behind it.
The 7th Form Function & Class conference will be held on October 22 to 23, 2016 at the Hive Hotel in Quezon City, and you’re cordially invited to be part of it!
This year’s FFC6 turns last year’s theme on its head and focuses on the “evils” and “villains” in design that need to be eliminated, all while sporting a new logo and original typeface. Design may be super-hot right now, but a lot of misconceptions and bad habits remain, so FFC6 is our battlecry to rally against those things in a sort of Rebel Alliance-y, Mockingjay-esque fashion. If you believe in […]
Six years into this crazy, bumpy ride that is the Philippine Web Designers Organization and the quest to create a web design conference in this country, we’re actually still here! And holding the 5th <form> function() & .class already!
I’ll put the blathering on hold until after the event. CLICK, REGISTER, NOW! Our annual web design conference is on November 9-10 at the Benilde SDA Campus. The rest of the info is listed on the page. There are 2 contests where you can win a ticket (ends October 22), and an Early Bird rate (ends October 26).

PWDO is extremely fortunate to have UST TomasinoWeb as the leading student organization helping out with our FFCs. We’re proud that they’re now on the second year of holding the student version, Junior Form Function & Class (JFFC), on the 16 and 17 of February. It’s also gone two days, two venues (College of St. Benilde on Saturday), and simultaneous workshops. Even this year’s branding takes off on FFC 2012, […]
I have to take a deep breath each time I think about the FFC nowadays, so it’s kind of nice bumping into this poster whose words, as it happens, are coming to a shirt near you. As though it were a cosmic reminder that instead of freaking out, I should look forward to what we’re gonna learn on that weekend.
The third FFC will be held on November 10 & 11 at the University of Santo Tomas. We’ve tweaked our format yet again: Day One will consist solely of 3-hour, multi-track workshops while Day Two will comprise conference plenary sessions. The agenda covers responsive web design, web-based game development, HTML5, interaction design, business sense, and more. We’re also holding a pre-party / networking night at KYSS on October 26. Make […]
