Pinoy Crab Mantality
This is a trait of Filipinos that contributes to the severe poverty that we are facing nowadays. Instances occur when somebody is on the top, his fellows will let him down no matter what happens. I think this is an idiot thinking and no sense. It can cause a lot to the growing Poverty of our country….

Actually, if you’ll see the second quote, I just picked out the “notorious Pinoy crab mentality” from it. I just think that it’s sad, silly, and pathetic, considering that news about “Pinoys taking over the blogosphere” ought to be a sign of maturity already. Why step backwards and bring one another down?

remember how, when we were kids we would beat on our siblings whenever we felt that they were getting more attention than us? the philippine internet community as a whole is relatively young, and generally it's still in that stage where it finds it more interesting to beat on each other than to actually help each other out. (i should know, i glorified it.) that said, people will eventually grow out of these tendencies, just like everyone eventually matures and kinda mellows out given enough time. that's just the way of these things, and has nothing to do with racial or cultural tendencies at all. (in other words, it has nothing to do with the fact that we're Pinoy; it's simply because we're immature.)
