Anecdotes
Phillip suggested I’d take this part time job announced on the bulletin board outside the Department. That was around November 2005. We trotted over to the Praise headquarters and asked about it. A tiny problem though: they wanted an in-house web designer (that was at their beck and call for every new update). We eventually came to a compromise that I could do stuff at home, but if I really needed to meet with them (for the salary especially, haha), I had to go there.
The site is doing pretty well and it now has a following of its own: the proof is in the comments on the music pages, as well in the forums. It’s fun getting to meet the people behind the likes of Thoughts and Notions and id04, which are local Christian bands. And it’s fun being this anonymous webmaster they assume to be male. Even more fun is my boss at Praise; I won’t give details but he’s certainly one of the smartest and most talented people I’ve met. I thought it would be tough trying to come up with a fresh design for the website, but they all seem to like it.

hi ia! what’s the url? :)

@Sam: Hi. :) I wonder which ones you were referring to but they’re both CSS-based if you mean that I don’t call
<img>tags in the HTML. Cheers!
