It seems there’s a new Yahoo! logo that is popping up, though only so rarely:

I normally hate it when big brands redesign their logos. Often the rebranding just doesn’t make sense. But I must say, there’s reason enough behind the new Yahoo! logo—flaunt the purple and make the name more readable, while still making sure it has that outlandish feel.
I’m crossing my fingers, because after all Yahoo’s been through, I want them to survive.
I also want them to survive…and same goes for the old logo. I love the quirkiness of the serifs :)
I’ve never liked serifs myself, so the new logo’s all right with me.
I also want them to survive… for healthy competition purposes… the Logo? i like the font of the new one except for the color…
Okay, apparently nobody likes either the new or the old one 100%. This should mean it’s good because you can still feel Yahoo’s presence as a brand in either!
